Creative Teachers Wanted!
As a service to our partner schools, ECESC is working to compile career exploration resources for teachers and students. We have identified a high need for these types of resources in K-8 classrooms. ECESC seeks to help fill this gap by leveraging talent in our region. We are seeking K-8 teachers in our partner schools who enjoy planning cross-curricular student activities and have a talent for bringing the real world into the classroom.
ECESC will compensate participating teachers for the creation of developmentally appropriate resources that connect Indiana’s employability skills standards to local career opportunities. Participating teachers will have access to a template and other instructional resources. Participants will work independently, but will have the option to attend networking opportunities at ECESC. Teachers will have flexibility in the number of resources they choose to create, and will receive $250 per lesson.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the application via Google Forms: https://forms.gle/FHv3fhPR1tCFQv8F6. Applications are due by Monday, November 14, 2022. Lesson creation will begin in January 2023. Please direct any questions to Lindsey Lovern llovern@ecesc.k12.in.us
